TTDI Toastmasters – 6th December 2017 Meeting # 415

Time: Wednesday, 6th December 2017 · 7:15 pm – 10:15 pm

Location: Wisma WIM, TTDI

Theme : Turn Knowledge into Action

Knowledge is a familiarity, awareness, or understanding of someone or something, such as facts, information, descriptions, or skills, which is acquired through experience or education by perceiving, discovering, or learning. Knowledge can refer to a theoretical or practical understanding of a subject.

Most people believe knowledge is power and that success depends on how much a person knows. Knowledge is power only when you truly understand it by internalising and act upon it.

In the movie Karate Kid, the character Jackie Chan plays has understood Kung Fu and has internalised it which makes him see Kung Fu in everything.

“Kung Fu lives in everything we do. It lives in how we put on the jacket, how we take off the jacket. It lives in how we treat people. Everything is Kung Fu.” – Mr Han (The Karate Kid)

To truly understand what you learn, you must apply. Learning to speak confidently is similar as learning Kung Fu in martial art. TTDI Toastmasters Club is the best platform for you to apply your knowledge in public speaking, communication and leadership skill.

Come and join us at TTDI Toastmasters Club this coming Wed, 6th Dec 2017 to discover the beauty of Toastmasters in nurturing your knowledge in speaking, communication and leadership skill.
