Inertia is the tendency to remain unchanged. All people have this inertia that we call the comfort zone. It is the innate ability of human to remain in the comfort zone as we feel safer that way.

Change could be that new idea that you want to develop, the new commitment you have always wanted, or that Toastmasters meeting you want to go to. Something that is not what you usually do, something different from your everyday life. It could spice up your life, or it could make you discover what you really wanted.

Everyone yearn for a better change but everyone has inertia. Overcoming it could be tough and demotivating, but the rewards could be trilling and exciting. Whatever the case may be, if you are not satisfied with the current situation, something has to be done.

“For things to change, you have to change – by Jim Rohn, author and motivational speaker.
